Simon: I don’t hate Ryan

Part of the fun of watching American Idol is the repartee between Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest. But do they really hate each other, or is it all just entertainment?

“I don’t hate Ryan,” said Simon to Larry King, “You don’t hate the mosquito. You just want it out of your face.”

Oh. That should make Ryan’s fans feel a little bit better.

    Each Idol season always has its big shocker, and this week it came on, disappointingly hitting the only male eye candy of the show left, Michael Johns. I fully agree with Simon that he’ll be missed, that he has a great voice, and seemed like a genuinely nice guy. Sadly we are now left with the two Davids - one saccharine sweet and the other irritatingly conceited. It really shuda been the blonde. Or the one who does that freaky baby cry.

    David Hernandez may have been booted out of American Idol, but he’s not giving up on his dreams of being a singer. Good for him, he’s got a lot of talent. Too bad he doesn’t have a lot of brains.

    He told reporters that he was auditioning for a show called “Lease.” Lease? Oooooh, “Rent.”

    He also seemed a little confused as he wandered around the city. He approached strangers for help to find a car, and asked a Hasidic Jew whether he was a “Pilgrim.” We don’t know if we should call him a racist, or an idiot.

    Her most embarrassing moment was actually more embarrassing and uncomfortable to listen to than it was to actually experience. I like this chick, I think she’s hot, but she probably isn’t going to last. Too many good singers this year.

    Ummm…how drunk is Paula? She may be taking way too many pain killers before the show. She just seems like a total mess. I wouldn’t mind hooking up with her though, I bet she is amazing in the sack (in a Britney Spears sort of way, of course).
